About Us
Michael is gay and understands what it means to grow up and live within a religious community. He knows that trying to change the sexual orientation or gender identity is a lost cause. He understands the inner struggle with faith while the environment says that your faith does not even exist because of the sexual orientation you “chose”. He understands the confusion that LGBT+ believers can have while they are trying to remember the moment they made the decision to be gay, by, trans… In addition, he is a trained and experienced nonviolent communication trainer, mediator, and group leader.
Neda is straight. She met a large number of LGBT people within religious communities and connected to their pain. Walking alongside Mihael on his journey of accepting himself for 16 years, she realized that she was not only following him, but was on her own journey of accepting LGBT + people without the word that refutes that acceptance, the word BUT. She is a trained and experienced nonviolent communication trainer, group leader and couselor.
